Rivers Crisis: Fubara Asserts Readiness for Queries, Cites Records in Investigation of Wike and Others

Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers State expressed on Tuesday his readiness to answer queries, emphasizing that he meticulously documented all his activities during his tenure as a civil servant.

Fubara stated that he has records demonstrating that all his actions were based on proper approvals.

Speaking at the inauguration of the Egbeda internal roads, the governor responded to those questioning his decision to investigate the previous administration.

During the previous administration of Nyesom Wike, Fubara served as the Accountant-General.

Amid his conflict with Wike, who is now the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Fubara pledged to investigate Wike and earlier administrations.

Nevertheless, Fubara stated that his records clearly show all his actions during the last administration were based on proper approvals.
